The Hutto Women’s Alliance is hard at work preparing for our 7th Annual Hippo Stampede 5K, a fun and impactful community event that raises scholarship funds for Hutto ISD seniors.

Last year, we proudly raised $10,000 for student scholarships — and we want to go even bigger this year!

  • Action Plans for the Hippo Stampede 5K from the subcommittee

Community Need This Month

Please help us spread the word by sharing the Anne Cano Empowerment Grant with any woman in Hutto who is interested in continuing her education. The application was extended through February 15, 2026. This grant may be used for:

  • GED programs

  • Trade certifications (such as welding)

  • Cosmetology classes

  • Real estate licensing

  • And other forms of higher education
